Kenosha was bored.
She had been sitting at Moirai's Church of Blood for two weeks now. Mushi Ent had ordered the Ents to stock up and zero her for her attacks on them a year ago. She didn't want her family caught in the middle, so she had left The Palazzo and decided to sit at Moirai's.
Two weeks later and nothing. Maybe they had changed their minds, maybe they would attack later in the month, or maybe they just didn't want to attack at Moirai's house due to his reputation, but whatever the reasons, it just wasn't happening.
Tired of camping out with nothing to do, Kenosha decided to go have a few drinks. The sun had just disappeared from the sky and the night was young. She found a little hole in the wall at Kyanite and 19th called The Lounge. The place was dive, but it was close and it was cheap so Kenosha grabbed a seat and ordered a drink. One became two, two became four, four became whatever. She drank until she lost count, but she was still bored. Bored and drunk. Not just drunk, but stumbling around, passing out, don't remember your name, sleep it off for 3 days, fuck the world drunk.
Kenosha left the bar looking for trouble. She stopped by the Descending Angels offices to see if there was any work. There was a contract in progress, but the details hadn't been released yet. She flipped open her cell and called a few numbers, but no one answered. Half a night left and no one to talk to and nothing to do.
She stumbled around for a while, feeding on humans and looking for something to occupy her time. She was just about ready to call it a night and go back to Moirai's when she had a thought. She would go over to The Midnights Hall and see if any of them were around. They were always up for some entertainment and hell raising.
As she approached, she was annoyed to see it appeared to be deserted as it had been for a while now. She fumbled her key in the lock and tripped in the door. Her eyes adjusted to the dark rather quickly, but she flipped on the light anyways. A thick layer of dust on everything told her no one had been here in a while. "Hellllloooooooo..." Kenosha shouted out. "Anybody heeeeyer?"
No answer.
Where was everybody? What happened to all the LULZ? The Midnights were supposed to cause trouble and create chaos. She couldn't be the only one who missed the excitement. She looked at the bulletin board. No target to hit, no bank heists planned, no St. Patricks Day massacre in the works. "What the fuck." Kenosha grumbled to herself.
An idea formed in her alcohol fogged brain and she began to giggle. She grabbed a stack of papers on a nearby desk and threw them in the air. "Wheeeee!!" She hollered as the papers scattered in a mess on the floor. She found a roll of duct tape and wrapped it around the desk over and over again, taping the drawers tightly closed. She hung toilet paper streamers from the ceilings and walls and emptied the paper shredder about the room like confetti. When the room was in total chaos, she went tripping down the hallway laughing and rattling the doors of all the rooms and offices. The ones she found unlocked she decorated to her liking as well.
After the last room was in total disarray, Kenosha collapsed on the floor in a fit of hiccups and laughter. She wondered who was going to clean this mess up, but dismissed the question. As long as it wasn't her, she really didn't care. Too drunk to get up, she wadded her jacket up to use as a pillow and stretched out on the floor for a nap.
She awoke a short time later, still drunk, but with the start of a good hangover coming on, and looked around at her handiwork. "Oh fuck, what did I do? I'm going to be in a world of shit over this one, " she said out loud to the empty room. She stood up on wobbly legs, collected her jacket off the floor and put it on.
She was wondering how she was going to explain this if it was found out that she did it, when a plan invaded her mind. This is what the Midnights were about, wasn't it? Wreaking havoc and causing trouble. Who said others always had to be the victims? Why not the Midnights themselves? Why hide what she had done? She was going to take full credit.
Kenosha searched around the room until she found a jumbo sized marker on the floor. She went to the wall across from the door, so anyone entering could see, and in huge black letters wrote, "KENOSHA WAS HERE.... HOW MANY POINTS DO I GET FOR THIS?
With a nod and a satisfied smile at her work, Kenosha flipped off the light and somehow managed to make it back to Moirai's. She barely made it to her room before passing out in a drunken stupor, grinning and wondering how long it would take for anyone to notice what she had done.
